10/25/2008 - Pumpkins
I promised the kids the weekend before Halloween we would carve pumpkins. So we did, it was a mess, it was fun. But here are our 2008 pumpkins.
10/24/2008 - Color Me Mine

So Darek had a spousal lunch in at work where we went to Color Me Mine in Provo and were able to decorate ceramic pieces to our liking. I picked 3 plates, one for each kid and put their names on them and Darek make a dinosaur he will give to Quincy as part of his Birthday gift.
Thank you Lauren for watching my kids, I appreciate it more than you know. I know they can be quite a handful!

Ok so Alisha had this on her blog and it looked so much fun! I love things like this. Anyhow according to this site...which totally took my by surprise.... here are our results! The only picture I had of me and it is pretty bad! (Not because of Lauren! She takes great pics, just don't care for pictures of me)

10/17/2008 - Kangaroo Zoo

We had our wonderful neighbors kids and wonderful friends Alisha and her kids all at Kangaroo Zoo today. Lauren we are sad you moved....even if it is only a block or two away. But this was a great way to spend time with the kids before the move.
There was a bad part about going as well, Quincy was hit in the head pretty hard coming down a slide and his eye was all messed up for awhile. Then just sat there for a couple hours and wouldn't eat or really respond much but a couple words here and there. Took him in and had him checked out a couple hours later and he was getting better and by the end of the night he was just fine!

10/12/2008 - New Table and Chairs

So I sold my breast pump as I stopped nursing at 5 1/2 months(longest I have made it with any of the kids) and my old table and chairs and was able to buy a new table and 6 chairs! The black table matches our micro and toaster and frames throughout the house. The red matches my red wall and the red pillows in the living room and the white matches the fridge and stove and couches in living room. Hope it ties things together alright. That was the idea anyhow.

10/7/2008 - Baby Bath

So I had Conrad take his first bath in a big kid bath. He took one with Jada so that she could help me hold him up in his seat, since he floats all around in the tub. He really seemed to enjoy it! Of course he is in the kids bath tub which is full of floating toys all around, which you can see in the background.
