Conrad kept getting ear infections for the first year of his life and so a year ago he got his first set of tubes. After 2 recent ear infections we took him in for a check up and he needed to have his tubes replaced. They also took his adenoids and tonsils so that he may not need a further surgery. He did great and we are taking his moods day by day and not sleeping at night but he should be all better very soon!
My dad had previously done a sprint tri last year and I agreed to complete it this year with him. After some medical problems he was unable to run so after he swam his 16 Olympic pool laps I rode the bike 10m (should get a road bike for the next one) and ran the 3.2. It rained which made things interesting but was glad that we completed it! 
Quincy was a tad nervous to go back to school, practicing his letters and numbers up til the day class started.

Quincy is such a character, I think he is happy to be back in school
Quincy LOVES soccer! Everyday that he has practice or a game he wakes up and continues to ask when it is time to go.
