12/25/2010 - Christmas Day

Christmas morning was fun. Nana and Papa were here and Santa had come the night before. Even though Quincy felt Conrad didn't deserve gifts due to the fact that he can be mean to him. Jada got her MP3 player, Quincy his Air Hogs Helicopter, and Conrad his camera. After a homemade breakfast we said goodbye to Nana and Papa, the kids played and I took down the Christmas decorations. It is early but we had everything up before Thanksgiving and always have everything down by Quincy's birthday which is Tuesday so that he doesn't feel like his birthday and Christmas are quite as close.

12/24/2010 - Christmas Eve

We always open gifts on Christmas Eve and this year was no different. We had lunch/dinner at 3 at out house, opened gifts, the older two along with myself and parents went to a candle light church service, came home and ate some food and talked for awhile. The kids asked nana and papa to spend the night and so they did :) Quiny slept by the tree, and Jada by her grandparents. Oh and Uncle Andy had a great time shooting all the kids with Nerf guns.....couldn't tell who enjoyed it more, him or the kids.

12/22/2010 - Salt ornaments

This year I finally decided that the kids are old enough to make salt ornaments. Not realizing that they take 2hrs to cook we started it the night before and then the kids painted them the following night. They loved them and were very proud of thier creations!

12/18/2010 - Jada's Recital

Jada had her first piano recital, she only started taking lessons about 2 months ago and has really enjoyed it. She had a great time preforming!

12/16/2010 - Quincy's Christmas Program

Quincy had his Christmas program, it was about 45 min so he had a hard time sitting still but did a great job! Conrad even sat still close to the entire time!

11/15/2010 - Quincy's Early 5th Birthday Party

Since Quincy's birthday is 3 days after Christmas we always select an earlier date for his friend party. This year he wanted to go play laser tag. So a week before when I handed out invitations I called the location we were going to to verify that they would be able to have us etc. Well the day of I go pick up Quincy's cake (yeah he picked it out) and then stop by our planned location to find out they are CLOSED! I almost died, so for the hour to two before the party I called around and found another place to go as well as talked to the parents to make sure the change was alright. All in all I think the kids had a great time. Thanks for coming everyone!
