12/31/2008 - Professional Photos

So Quincy is sitting there with baby and says "Baby Fall" which means he is about to push the baby off his lap. What a funny kid. Thankfully my mom heard him and it didn't happen!

12/31/2008 - God

So the other day Jada was in the car with me and here was our conversation:
Jada: Mom, I know who your mom and dad are!
Me: Yeah, Nana and Papa
Jada: Yep and I know who Nana's mom is!
Me: Nana ginger
Jada: Yep, and I know who her dad is
Me: Oh you do (he passed away before Jada was born)
Jada: Yep, and I know who everyone in this buildings mom and dad are.
Me: Oh really!
Jada: Yep and I know who everyone in the whole worlds parents are.
Me: Ok, then who is Nana Gingers dad?
Jada: Mom, God is everyone's parents. He created us.

There you go, from a kid that has never attended church :)

12/31/2008 - Random photos

So in the winter our guest/kids bathtub freezes over. So ther baby had to take a bath in the sink a couple times. He really enjoyed himself.

We also went to the dinosaur museum this past weekend and make these casts. The kids thought it was great to bring things home with them.

12/26/2008 - Christmas is Over

With Christmas over I went shopping for the after holiday sales this morning. Was able to pick up quite a few things. Between yesterday and today the kids and I built Quincy's dinosaur, went sledding and managed to get my truck stuck in the snow and they kidos had a sleepover with their grandparents. It has been quite a week and here are a couple photos over the past couple days.

12/25/2008 - Santa Came!

Christmas Day began at 7am! The kids were VERY excited that Santa had come. He even ate their cookies. The older two got skates and the younger one the jumper.

12/24/2008 - Merry Christmas

Conrad was so tired he fell asleep with Uncle Andy

So we do things a little different than most. We celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, we all meet for dinner, and open all of our gifts. Then on Christmas Day Santa had come and the kids can open their gifts from him in the morning.

Just last year we announced that we were going to have a new baby boy! Happy 1st Christmas Conrad

12/21/2008 - Baby food and Santa's cookies

Today I tried making my own baby food. And Conrad LOVED IT! He ate the whole bowl and got upset when it was gone. This is much cheaper I think and seems like it would be better for him.

Tonight Jada and I made our cookies for Santa. She is beyond excited for Christmas.

12/21/2008 - Days

You ever have days that you are ready to run away? Last night Quincy was up twice, and the baby about 6 times....who btw was awake for the day by 7 this morning. Before I even left my bedroom I could hear the kids arguing over who had what code name in their walkie talkie game. The dog is wining in her kennel. Baby of course knows you are coming so starts screaming in his crib. You go change the baby and tell the 2 year old to use the potty. Of course he refuses, and 20 min later pees all over. Tell everyone you are going to make breakfast and to sit still or color or something. And they get out the paints. Tell them they can't paint before breakfast and they pout. Baby drops toy and screams......and breakfast is no where made. The older ones decide to play a game of keep away with a bag of OPEN popcorn....so then there is popcorn all over the floor. And this continues while you make breakfast. And this was all before 8 am! It is going to be a long day!!!!

12/20/2008 - Finals and the SNOW

FINALS ARE OVER!!! And I survived!!!
We have tons of snow so the kids were out playing in it today.....of course we are now short a Quincy glove.

12/20/2008 - Photoshop

Ok I love photoshop, after school today I was playing in it for awhile and since I have no reason to make cards for myself, I worked on some for Lacey and her new baby.

12/18/2008 - Jada's Chrismas Program

Jada had her Christmas program, and she had 2 speaking lines! She did very well and we are very proud of her.
